Springtime in Southeast Ohio
What a beautiful time of the year! People talk about the color "spring green" but right now we're experiencing
"spring pink," "spring purple," "spring red," and so may other fabulous colors! The red bud and the dogwood are both
blooming on the hillsides. As you drive along the highway and look into the woods, it's as if clouds of pink and white
are hovering over the hills. Violets are everywhere. I used to think they just grew in the wooded areas, but they've
found a home in our front yard, among the dandelions and spring beauties. Ah-h-h, yes! It's a beautiful time of
the year.

My name is Caitlin Hyland and it will be my privilege to share with you some of my favorite necklaces, bracelets, and
earrings. I've been making jewelry all my life, if you count the big wooden beads that toddlers string on shoelaces!
But my sales career began when I was 15 years old. That summer I discovered "memory wire" and made a bunch of jewelry
by tearing apart old pieces. I made more than the girls in our family could wear, so I set up a booth at a local festival
and sold out. All my earnings went to buy "good beads" and I've been expanding for the past four years. I sell most of my
jewelry at art shows or at a few shops that carry my work. But now I'm branching out to this website. I'm glad
you're here and I hope you find something beautiful to bless your day.
